The words echoed in the head of long time exotic car enthusiast Moolie Kilgore. How could his eyes deceive him so, in the midst of his weekly scavenge hunt through the local salvage yard? The damage to the Diablo was substantial. Moolie made an offer to the powers that be and had them tow the skeletal remains to his home where the serviceable remnants were harvested to service the will of the dark lord.

Mr. Kilgore cannibalized the usable components to construct a turnkey model of the most extrinsic supertruck in the world. The four wheel drive Diablo on these pages consists of actual Lamborghini apparatus, replica fiberglass panels, a Cummins 600 Turbo Diesel, and a custom tube frame chassis fabricated by Twistd Metal Offrod in Ajo, AZ. The superbeast looks so authentic, diehard Lamborghini enthusiasts can't tell the difference.

Sure...it LOOKS freakin' awesome, but bull-et proof?! Moolie sets up an appointment at Crunkmetal Offroad's Devil's Playground for an exclusive drive-by adventure, riding shotgun with the man himself. The Playground isn't your average run-of-the-mill offroad adventure theme park. Think inner city grill polishing violence meets offroad mayhem in a beat-the-clock race for points against other offroaders. The competition is usually blood-thirsty, as seasonal winners are given opportunities to compete for sponsorships at UROC and other sanctioned events on a national level.

Set up similar to the Top Truck Challenge, owners must operate, manipulate and in some cases circumnavigate their rides through a barrage of toughtruck-eating terrain. Moolie took Aufrod & Tract's editor, Nat Cheblock along for a spin at the Devil's Playground. "The truck is possessed. There were moments on the course when I was almost able to hear the metal the stereo was blaring, but most of the time, I was holding on for one corner or another or bracing myself for a brutal halt..." Moolie and Nat finished fourth after a quick pants change.
